CD Projekt Red has issued a public warning about a scam involving fake invitations to a beta test for The Witcher 4. The studio clarified that no such beta test exists, as the game is still in its early development stages and is not expected to be released before 2027.

The fraudulent invitations have been circulating via email and social media, claiming to offer early access to the game. CD Project Red emphasized that any official announcements regarding beta tests or other developments will be made through their verified channels. They urged fans to report any suspicious messages using the tools available in their email clients or social media platforms.

In their statement, the developers playfully reminded fans, “Professional monster slayers don’t fall for scams; they see right through them and slay them!”

As anticipation builds for The Witcher 4, fans are advised to stay vigilant and rely solely on official sources for updates to avoid falling victim to scams.
